Department of Transport and Main Roads

This project was a multi-million dollar “turn-key” refurbishment of 2 levels of high technology government offices. It required the temporary relocation of 167 staff. Careful planning was required throughout the build phase to ensure the adjoining QLD State mainframe computer function was uninterrupted.

Intebuild worked closely with the Department’s WH&S team to ensure the safety of the more than 1000 TMR staff and visitors. The project also included the removal of bonded asbestos.

This total refurbishment required significant upgrades and certifications to electrical, IT, CCTV, mechanical, and fire detection services.
