St John’s College St Lucia (within The University of Queensland) |
|
Intebuild first became involved with St John’s College within The University of Queensland, when appointed to re-build a fire damaged student accommodation block. During the following decade, Intebuild oversighted, designed, built and refurbished several technically complex residential and service facilities throughout the college. Completion of these projects was achieved within tight time frames ensuring minimal disruption to the residential College and the students therein. Ground conditions on this site dictate the need for deep ‘bored grouted piers’ or ‘screw piling’. Due to the age of the college infrastructure, Intebuild has been extensively involved in upgrading underground services, trade waste and internal services throughout. In recent times Intebuild has provided the latest pipe sleeving technology in order to save the college large capital repair costs to building structures. Works throughout have been extensive, varied and carried out safely within the University of Queensland Health and Safety Policies and Procedures. |
